Someone else's computer is running your code. These rules exist so both sides are safe.
You may not use Petabyte to
- Attack, scan, or disrupt other systems, or run botnets, DDoS tooling, or credential-stuffing.
- Break into, tamper with, or escape the container onto a host's machine.
- Process or generate child sexual abuse material, or content that incites violence.
- Run workloads that are illegal where you are, where the host is, or where we operate.
- Infringe copyright — including running pirated software or unlicensed game servers.
- Mine cryptocurrency on a rented GPU without the host's consent (hosts may opt in to idle mining on their own hardware).
- Evade sanctions, launder money, or conceal the origin of funds.
Hosts may not
- Interfere with, inspect, copy, or exfiltrate a buyer's workload or data.
- Misrepresent their hardware, region, or capabilities.
- Take payment and deliberately fail to deliver compute.
Enforcement
We may suspend a rental or an account, withhold settlement, and where required report to authorities. Report abuse to abuse@petabyte.market — include the VM address or node id if you have it.
